Costa Fortuna was built in 2003 at the Fincantier shipyards based in Italy, she is a large size ship just under 900 feet in length and weighing in at just over 102,000 tonnes, she was inspired by legendary ocean liners of the past but has all the modern facilities you would expect to find on board.

Fortuna has 1,358 cabins in total, including: 464 with private balcony and 58 suites, all with private balcony, allowing her to accommodate a total of  3,470 guests.


The ship has 4 main restaurants including the Club Conte Grande 1927, for which you will need to make a reservation and pay an additional charge, other highlights on the Costa Fortuna include 11 bars, a theatre on three levels,4 pools one of which has a retractable glass roof,6 whirlpools, a multipurpose sports area, outdoor jogging track, virtual world games room, there is even a chapel on board.
