MS Costa Europa was built in 1986 by the Meyer Werft shipyard as MS Homeric for Home Lines,she was sold to Holland America Line and renamed MS Westerdam. In 1990, after she was lengthened in 2002 she was transferred to the Costa Cruises fleet.There is an extraordinary art collection on board the Europa ship, ranging from antiques to works by Flemish artists, Chinese bronze sculptures and a 17th Century ship cannon.her other features include 2 swimming pools, sports courts and fitness centre,solarium,casino,disco,shopping centre and photo shop,library and card room,Internet access.
